Read what Joycy’s clients have to say:

Looking for the right therapist is not an easy task. I’ve been married for 24 years and have four children. Over the years we have had a few times where we needed some professional help with our family related issues.  We’ve used four therapists on various occasions however the past three years we have had the sincere pleasure of working with Joycy Lacombe. After twenty years of marriage we thought our issues were too strong and deep to get resolved and the next step was heading towards a divorce. Joycy was highly recommended to us from the staff at Church by the Glades. Joycy took the time to get to know us, she was responsive, she listened and worked with us as often as we needed her and allowed us to have our space when we needed that too.  I’m the owner of a consulting business and I try to solve difficult problems on a daily basis, but I saw no resolution with my own issues.  Joycy is warm and friendly yet firm when she needs to be, but at all times a true professional.  Not only did Joycy work with us, but we also asked her to help some of our extended family too. I felt throughout our counseling sessions with Joycy that she truly cared to help us. She offered great advice and never gave up.  Joycy has a brilliant mind and a compassionate heart. These past few years our marriage has never been better. Today there is no one I would rather spend time with than my wife. I thank Joycy for not giving up on me and helping me to discover things about myself that I never realized existed.  Unfortunately mental health can have a stigma in our society.  If you have a physical sickness you typically do not have a problem going to a doctor, likewise, if you have emotional issues you should not have a problem consulting with a therapist. I would highly encourage any person who is experiencing problems that they are having a difficult time resolving on their own to reach out and connect with Joycy.  You will be glad that you did.

I just wanted to take the time to thank you for all your help and love you showed to me and my family.  Jason and I are doing very well now.  We have another baby who just turned four months this past weekend and a healthy relationship between us. Thank you for your support and help in bringing about God’s will for our lives.

I first started seeing Joycy Lacombe to help and guide me with raising a rebellious teenage daughter. I was unaware back then of all the underlying issues outside of my teenager’s bad behavior that caused the rebellion and chaos in our family.  I am still seeking Joycy’s wisdom after many years past that stage.

She has taken the time to incorporate the entire  mmediate family, plus many dynamics of extended family to truly get the whole picture, and understand exactly what I was trying to say without me being able to put it into words!

Joycy is so warm and  welcoming you leave feeling a sense of peace, purpose and with a plan of
action!

One of the first things that stood out to me was Joycy’s ability to remain nonjudgmental. It provided me with the comfort and security to know that I could be open with her. In a previous secular setting I had expressed a situation that was going on between my wife and I and I was immediately met with the reaction that they should contact her employer to notify them of the situation. Needless to say that left me feeling far less trusting to open up and provide details regarding what was happening. Joycy remained professional and accepting the entire time and provided me with scripture, biblical resources, and the spiritual guidance to help me see God’s direction for the circumstances surrounding me.

Counseling saved my life.  It gave me confidence and new perspective to life.  Counseling cannot be confined to distinct sessions, it’s a way of life.
